Since I joined Clevertouch, I have noticed that inclusivity is a priority. I do not think that anyone feels ignored or left out, for any reason. Even when I was new, I was asked what I thought and if I would do things differently. This helped me settle in and I have since become more confident in my abilities. I understand the importance of an inclusive workplace, as people perform better when they feel valued, included and heard.
In the office or at home, there has never been a time where I have felt left out or not listened to, as Adam, Corinna and Chloe are always available should I need help with something. This has been a great help for me as sometimes I need advice or guidance and having it easily available means I can produce higher quality work. There have been times in my life previously where help was not available, and that meant I had to overcome any issues on my own without support. When support is available, I feel I am able to push myself and test things out, rather than be more conservative in order to avoid any potential issues.
If I had to give any advice to someone who is just about to start a new job, I would say do not be afraid to ask for help, and if you are having problems you should let someone know. It is easy to avoid asking for help, trying to solve any issues you may face on your own, however, asking for help means you can solve problems faster and produce more quality work. Another piece of advice would be to have a healthy breakfast, but that is unrelated to inclusivity.
