Children's Art Week 2021

June 29, 2021 - July 19, 2021

Children's Art Week 2021, although actually three weeks is run by Engage or the National Association for Gallery Education, was founded to bring artists and communities together so that everyone can access and benefit from the arts.

We've put together a few of our favourite art apps available on our Cleverstore that you can use on your Clevertouch touchscreen or a tablet to get involved and get creative!

For the little ones, we have Infant Colouring Book By Rad Lemur Kids Games. This fun app teaches children their ABCs while having fun colouring! So select a colour and fill away!

Coloring Book Fun By Kevin Bradford LLC
Nursery and reception children will love this painting and colouring book app! Draw, colour, and create whatever they can imagine. The possibilities are endless with eight different brushes, unlimited colours, and over 100 colouring pages for little kids. Kids will stay entertained with fun effects, sounds, and stickers. There is no limit to what little ones can create with this app!

For slightly older children, we have Draw By NUITEQ. Draw is an application where users can show their artistic skills and create their own drawings and designs. It's brilliant, and your class are bound to love it!

If you're looking for something that isn't wholly art-based, we have History Doodle by Abecedaire. History doodle is a perfect blend of history and art for kids and grown-ups. Using your finger or a stylus, grow your interest in history through creative expression! A bright and busy, wacky draw-in activity app packed full of things to doodle across the world's historical events.

Draw anything from mammoth to spaceships while learning; each page offers inspiration in the form of drawing activities or suggestions for drawings and doodles, with lots of space for children to come up with their own ideas too!

We also have Art History for Kids also by Abecedaire, which introduces young readers to the art world's most famous painters, styles, and periods!

Each historical section begins with an audio narrative summarizing the events and includes animations, interactive clues and fun facts. An interactive timeline allows the child to travel back and forward in time. Historical periods are organized thematically and chronologically from the ancient world through the 20th century.
App also includes a 'draw your own masterpiece game!
