How long have you worked in the industry?
I have been working in EdTech for roughly 10 years.
What were your previous job roles / companies?
I started out in education as a consultant for a Yearbook publisher in Canada, helping both teachers and students with the process of designing and creating their yearbooks across both Canada and the US. When I returned to the UK I moved into 3D printing within education and introduced schools and students to 3D printing hardware and software. In 2019 I started working with interactive touch screens and have loved it!
Why did you want to work for Clevertouch?
I knew through others in the industry that it had a great reputation as a brilliant place to work. It was also a great chance to work for the market leader and to get the opportunity to introduce educators to the best panel available.
What’s the favourite part of your job so far?
The entire team are absolutely fantastic and got me up to speed and feeling at home in no time.
What do enjoy doing in your spare time?
If I’m not out walking the dog somewhere in a forest or on a beach I can usually be found watching absolutely any motorsport I can find to watch on TV or in person.
Where do you see the industry going in the next 5 years?
With how quickly interactive screens are evolving it’s quite hard to imagine just how much they can change in the next 5 years. There is an ever increasing focus on collaboration so the ability for both staff and students to be able to collaborate using the screen a is currently a big focus for educators and there are already great ways to do this that will only get better.
